Red Sleeping Beauty began as a bedroom pop band in Stockholm in 1989 and returned in 2017 after a few releases in the 90s.
They have since returned with their wonderfully 80s new single “New York, New Me”, a song that was written in New York, to sound like New York. It’s described as “Pet Shop Boys through a Big Apple filter”, a dedly accurate description that fans of 80s new wave/synth pop will absolutely adore.
