New York-based singer-songwriter Alex Crossland has returned with new single “Better That it Ends”, a follow-up to his previously shared effort, “Parade.”

It’s a heartbreaking and bittersweet look at “the natural result of relationships ending and restarting after a cross-country move, and all of the melancholy camp that goes with that.” Reflective lyrics cut deep in a way that only a look at heartbreak can. There’s a take on classic folk songwriting, with a bit of an alt-country twang to it that gives it a fresh inspired appeal.
