Nashville, Tennessee Laney Jones has recently returned with their new single, “Stay at Home.”

It’s a blend of alt-country leaning indie folk with a passion and smart charm. There are traces of Big Thief and Adrianne Lenker in its heartfelt approach. One that delivers its message in a poignant and emotionally effective manner.

Speaking on the track, Jones adds:

“In AP Lit in school we had to write hyperbole about doing something that sounds terrible but you are trying to make it sound good. That was this song about getting stuck inside during the pandemic. Everything that we love is made with being around people and suddenly that was taken away. It took the humanity and beauty out of the world. The hidden thing is it’s bittersweet staying at home.”
