Texas-based rockets Broken Gold have returned with their single “Spiraling,” their first new material in three years. It will appear on their sophomore album, Wild Eyes, which will be released on April 26 via hometown label Chicken Ranch Records.

The heartland-inspired single brings a gritty and heartfelt rock sound inspired by the likes of The Gaslight Anthem and of course, Springsteen.

Speaking on the track, frontman Ian MacDougall explains:

“Spiraling is about the endless struggle to make ends meet. The countless temporary jobs you get where they’ll be cool about you going on tour when you’re home. The way that being away for all these years takes its toll on your understanding of which version of your life is your ‘normal’ life.”
