sleepyhead are an indie-pop duo from Manchester, England who returned earlier this month with their new 3-song EP, Red, an accompanying EP to the album, Blue In Nature, which was released last October.
“Placekicker” is an emotive slice of indie rock and pop with an emo rock influence that still manages to deliver an upbeat tone. It’s a catchy and efficient track at two-minutes, which still manages to give off plenty of feelings of nostalgia to some of the songs we fell in love during our teenage years.
