Salt Lake City-based indie quartet Fake Nice recently let go of their new album Rock & Roll Is Dead and So Am I. Today we are here to focus on the album’s strong closer track and single, “Hotel Chelsea.”
The track harkens back to simple but effective rock / pop classics of a different era, when the genres were more and less all the same. There is a warm sense of melancholic passion and love that shines through in a radiant manner. Heartfelt vocals, ripping guitar solos and a sense of wandering that is hard not to connect with.
