Canadian indie-rock trio Virgo Rising is a band that caught our attention last year with their wonderful single “Sleep In Yr Jeans.” It appeared on their EP Sixteenth Sapphire, which also features the wonderous closing track “Back of a Head, Body of a Couch.”
The band recently performed the latter as a part of the Live at House of Wonders series at the Winnipeg, Canada venues space. It’s a fantastic performance that not only brings the song to life but also gives it some extra bite and dimension, making it all the more effective than it already was.
