Charlene Soraia will release her new album Where’s My Tribe on January 25 via Peacefrog Records. If it’s anything like two of the albums’s singles, “Now You Are With Her” and “Tragic Youth,” it will be a good one.
The British singer-songwriter reminds of acts like Laura Marling with her fragile vocal work and guitar playing that all add up to something quite personal and touching. All the songs on the LP were recorded by Charlene in her flat with no edits, no autotune, and in one take, revealing the raw, pure beauty of the music. And that raw passion is felt throughout these passion-fueled tracks.
