Castorp is the project of South-London based songwriter Steffan Davies. He caught my ears with the release of his single “In Search of the Sun,” a gorgeous listen from start to finish that wastes no time grabbing the listener.
The first thing that grabs you is the clean-cut production of the vocals that rise out of the speakers like the sun and then the wistful vocals from Davies, who has an old-school approach sounding like a singer from an entirely different time period entirely. All good things, may I add. He clearly has a natural talent at this whole songwriting thing and sure be put on your radar immediately.
