Passion Pit are back. The synth-pop group will return with new album Kindred on April 21 via Columbia Records.
Earlier this week they returned with the glossy new single “Lifted Up (1985).” It’s the opening track on Kindred, so the album definitely opens with a burst of energy with a hooky chorus. It’s a very Passion Pit song in nature, with it’s sight set towards the the nosebleed sections of the largest arena. It took a few listens, but that chorus will find a way into your head sooner or later, whether you like it or not.
