It was just last December that Parquet Courts played to a sold out crowd at Webster Hall. The hard-working band have no plans of stopping, playing the much more intimate Palisades next Monday night (as well as Tuesday). All this after non-stop touring last year, after releasing two albums: Sunbathing Animal + Content Nausea.
Both shows are of course sold out, but keep an eye on the ticket page in case they release more. There’s always secondary markets as well. Chances to see the local rockers play such tiny spaces are probably going to become a rarer thing, so if you can find your way out to one of the shows, I’d definitely recommend making the move. They never disappoint.
In January they stopped by Letterman to play “Bodies Made Of.” Find that posted after the jump.
