Bob Mould

As an obvious concert addict, there’s nothing quite like going to a great live show. Unfortunately, that can get expensive both financially and emotionally. Tickets sell out, and sometimes you just can’t make it down to the show that you promised yourself that you’d see. With the recent developments of live concert streams, it has allowed the shows to come to you, no matter where you are. The only problem is, live streams have been somewhat limited to festivals and the select special show. However, that has all changed with the introduction of Yahoo! Live.

Yahoo Screen (the saviors of my beloved Community), have teamed with Live Nation to create Yahoo! Live, which is now the world’s largest live concert series. They will stream shows live as they’re happening, so you can take it in no matter where you are. The show will loop for the following 24 hours, so you can watch watch it the next day if you missed it, or even watch it after you were actually there. The cool thing about this service is that they will be streaming shows from the biggest of acts, as well as the fresh-faced indie acts that are on the rise. There’s something for everyone, literally.

Right now they are streaming Swans performance in Seattle at The Showbox from last night. Tonight they are streaming Bob Mould’s show at the theatre of Living Arts in Philadelphia, and it’s going to be available to watch at this link. The former Hüsker Dü frontman will be as good of a starting point to the new service as any. You can check out the full list of shows that Yahoo Live! has available to stream right here.
