I caught a brief but enchanting set from Baby Alpaca on Wednesday night over at at Rockwood Music Hall Before their set our very own Dana Pacifico met up with Chris & Zach of the band to take some photographs of them for our latest edition of Performer Portraiture. That’s coming later today.
The sound of Baby Alpaca isn’t one that can be limited to just one style. There were some songs that had a beautiful natural tone comparable to a Perfume Genius, and other songs with more of a pop-fueled kick. There’s a lot of talent to be found here, demonstrated by the vast number of instruments that they include in their live performance.
