If you missed out on the Golden Globes last night, you couldn’t be faulted. There was a lot of good television going on. So if you missed out and still haven’t caught up we got you covered with this little recap.
We all know that the first step towards Oscar Season is the Golden Globes. For the most part, I felt that the rightful winners won. Although 12 Years A Slave won Best Picture for a Drama, it didn’t do as well in other categories as people predicted. But others benefited in its place, such as Matthew McConaughey and Alfonso Cuarón.
n the TV department, Brooklyn Nine-Nine surprised many people with its wins (Best Comedy and Andy Samberg for Best Actor in a Comedy), and Aaron Paul was snubbed of a win for Best Supporting Actor For A Drama, but Bryan Cranston did win Best Actor For A Drama, the show won Best Drama, so I guess I can’t complain.
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler did a great job as the hosts once again. I wouldn’t mind having them back next year.
