The new year will bring many new movies, and many sequels. One of the latter is the highly anticipated 22 Jump Street, the sequel to the surprise hit, 21 Jump Street.
As we learned a few months ago, 22 Jump Street takes Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) to college, where there’s plenty of opportunities for all kinds of crazy scenarios.
The red band trailer has been released for the film, giving us a tasty look at what’s in store for us. It starts off with a bit of meta humor from Deputy Chief Hardy (Nick Offerman) who points out the humor in a sequel, even using the word “reboot” and the phrase “investing a lot of money.”
We see what goes down in the trailer, as they try to adjust to college life. We even see Captain Dickson (Ice Cube) get in on the action with the boys, as well as some cameos from Mr. Walters (Rob Riggle) and Eric Molson (Dave Franco) who are still in jail after the last film.
Directors Phil Lord & Chris Miller return for 22 Jump Street, which is due out June 13, 2014.
