As a fan of M83, I always keep an eye on the band’s frontman Anthony Gonzalez to see what he is up to. He did a marvelous job scoring Oblivion this year, and it seems that he has kept busy, as he has scored yet another film.
This time he’s donated his talents to French director Yann Gonzalez‘s upcoming film, You and the Night. Here’s the short description of the film:
Around midnight a young couple and their maid prepare for an orgy. Their guests will be The Slut, The Star, The Stud and The Teen.
The trailer gives the film a bizarre, surreal feel. You can hear M83 all over the song from Anthony Gonzalez’s score that accompanies the trailer. It’s provides an interesting juxtaposition.
