One of the cool things that the Youtube Music Awards did was create live music videos that directors would create as the artist performed live. Spike Jonze directed Arcade Fire’s live music video/performance of “Afterlife” to create a music video for actress Greta Gerwig (who was in one of 2013’s finest films, Frances Ha) who danced throughout the whole thing.
The whole thing went down live. No cuts, nothing. It was pretty freaking awesome. Check it out below.
