Noah

This is a post that I meant to get up here a lot sooner. Back at the Toronto International Film Festival, a short film called Noah premiered. It got a great deal of attention, and rightfully so.

The film shows us something that we all go through everyday. The daily process on our computers and internet. We see our protagonist Noah idley go through his computer and facebook, skype with his girlfriend, and panic over a guy who begins commenting on her facebook photos. The whole thing takes place on his computer, it’s quite a fresh and unique little film.

It’s only 17-minutes-long, but it feels like a flash, because it instantly draws you in and keep you interested. We can all find something about this film relatable, which is why it works so damn well. It just feels so real.

It was directed by Canadian film students Walter Woodman & Patrick Cederberg, and is quite impressive. Check it out below. Beware, it’s slighty NSFW.
