Mark your calendars for March 7th, 2014, Wes Anderson fans, because that’s when his latest film, The Grand Budapest Hotel hits theaters!
The trailer (below) features an assortment of Anderson regulars (Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Edward Norton, and Bill Murray, among others) and Anderson newcomers (Ralph Fiennes, Saorsie Ronan, Jeff Goldblum, and Tony Revolori, among others) and it certainly delights! I don’t have much more to add because 1) this is the first trailer; 2) there’s a vague overarching plot about a lobby boy (Revolori) serving under an elderly-womanizing concierge (Fiennes) at the Grand Budapest Hotel in 1920s Hungary; and 3) hilarity of the Anderson variety ensues. Regardless, it’s nice to see the Anderson newcomers finally in an Anderson film, namely Fiennes, who rarely – as far as I can recall – shows off his comedic side.
The Grand Budapest Hotel hits theaters on March 7th, 2014 and stars Ralph Fiennes, F. Murray Abraham, Edward Norton, Mathieu Amalric, Saoirse Ronan, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Lea Seydoux, Jeff Goldblum, Jason Schwartzman, Jude Law, Tilda Swinton, Harvey Keitel, Tom Wilkinson, Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, and Tony Revolori. At least those are the names on the debut poster.
