Blue Caprice tells the chilling tale of the 2002 Beltway sniper attacks from John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo. It’s the first full-length feature film for director Alexandre Moors. Quite a way to start, huh?
Isaiah Washinton plays Muhammad, and Tequan Richmond plays Malvo. Tim Blake Nelson, Leo Fitzpatrick, and Joey Lauren Adams also star. The film tells the story through the killers perspective, something that is likely going to cause problems with some people (the victims families/friends). It premiered at Sundance this year and did quite well. It will be released in theaters on September 13, with VOD coming on September 17.
I’m excited to see how it all goes down, it’s going to be an intense watch. Find the trailer below.
