Sure the VMA’s just happened, but The National just released the video of the year. In what other video can you see a band is suits, swimming, shooting potato guns, playing beer baseball, and going down slip and slides?
The National remind us that they have fun too, its not all just serious sad songs, despite what people may think. The video was shot at Matt Berninger’s parents house in black and white. It’s a glorious thing to watch. My favorite music video of the year so far.
