John Turturro returns with his new directorial effort, Fading Gigolo. In an odd bit of events, Turturro’s character is put into male prostitution after his boss (Woody Allen) finds out there’s quite a bit of opportunity in the business. That’s right. Woody Allen is a pimp to John Turturro. The film looks like a bit of silly fun, with a cast that includes Sharon Stone, Sofia Vergara, Liev Schreiber, Vanessa Paradis, and Bob Balaban.
Fading Gigolo will make its premiere at Toronto International Film Festival next month. A theatrical release date is to be announced soon.
