It’s crazy to think that it has been 3 years since Machete was released. When it came out, I had very low expectations for it, but actually left me surprisingly entertained in a very silly fashion.
Here we are, three years later and director Robert Rodriguez has brought back Danny Trejo to play the wild and fierce ex-federale, Machete in the sequel: Machete Kills. Mel Gibson is the villain, and Charlie Sheen is the President. Is there really anything else that you need to know about the movie?
If so, then know that it also sports a cast of: Michelle Rodriguez, Amber Heard, Sofia Vergara, Cuba Gooding Jr., Antonio Banderas, Alexa Vega, Jessica Alba, Vanessa Hudgens, William Sadler, and Lady Gaga (yes, Lady GaGa).
The first trailer shows us just how insane things will get this time around. One of Machete’s gadgets include a iPhone with a knife. Good god. Sign me up for some stupid silly fun, when Machete Kills comes out on October 11. Here’s the trailer below.
