Ender’s Game has gotten a new trailer, built to give us a closer look at what we can expect from the film. Based on Orson Scott Card’s novel, Enders Game takes a look at a futuristic world where an alien race has attacked Earth, and remain a threat. Earth prepare for their return by training the best kids to become ready to fight in the future. Ender Wiggin is chosen to join for his brilliance, and quickly sees that he may play a much bigger role in all of this than he could have ever imagined. We see a lot of explosions and training in this trailer, making it look like quite a thrill.
I haven’t read the book, so I may not be as excited as those who have, but I am still intrigued at how this film will turn out. With a solid cast of Harrison Ford, Asa Butterfield (Hugo), Hailee Steinfeld, Ben Kingsley, Viola Davis, and Abigail Breslin, things will be solid from the acting stand point. Gavin Hood who directed Tsotsi and Rendition directed the film, but his last effort was the miserable X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which is resonable cause for concern.
