His latest film comes via the somewhat questionable Cold Comes The Night, where he stars as a Russian gangster in search of money that falls into the hands of a struggling motel owner played by Alice Eve. Cranston does a full on Russian accent and all. It’s directed by Tze Chun, director of 2009’s Children Of Invention.
The first trailer doesn’t sell me as much as I hoped, but I will probably check it out just to see what Cranston does with this role, which seems to be a full on baddie, unlike the questionable anti-hero that he plays with Walter White.
It doesn’t open here in the U.S. until later this fall but it opens in the UK on September 20. Watch the trailer below.
