Today the cast of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire arrived at Comic-Con to premiere footage as well as the latest trailer. This time around Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) will be competing in the quarter century battle known as the Quarter Quell, where they will have to go up in battle against some of the best and most legendary Hunger Games competitors.
New director Francis Lawrence takes over for Gary Ross, and the shift in direction is evident in this trailer. Looks like some cool set pieces and costumes, even more so than the 1st. The world really pops and has its own feel.
We mostly see events leading up to the event, leaving us with plenty of good fight fun to be saved for the theater. I enjoyed the first film for what it was, and have high hopes that the sequel is equally as thrilling.
