Sadly I still have yet to catch Cloudy With A Dance Of Meatballs. With that said, I’ve caught the trailer for the sequel, Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2, a few times before a few recent films and have got to say, it looks hilarious. Even though I didn’t see the first film, I was still easily able to accept and enjoy the concept of the film.
The film continues the tale of a great inventor named Flint Lockwood (Bill Hader) who invented a machine that changes water into food. In the sequel, the machine is still working and has begun creating food-animal hybrids known as ‘foodimals’. You get a hilarious look at some of these characters and the witty puns that the film have created, such as ‘tacodiles’ and ‘shrimpanzees’. Flint needs to stop the machine in order to save the world before the ‘foodimals’ get out of control.
Going to make a firm effort to finally catch the first film soon in time for the sequels September 27 release. It stars Bill Hader, Anna Faris, James Caan, Andy Samberg, Neil Patrick Harris, Benjamin Bratt, Terry Crews, Will Forte, and Kristen Schaal.
