The Counselor is the new film from Ridley Scott that sports one hell of a cast: Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender, Javier Bardem, Cameron Diaz and Penelope Cruz. The script was penned by highly acclaimed author, Cormac McCarthy (No Country For Old Men, The Road).
The teaser trailer gives us a little bit to feast on for now, and it looks like Javier Bardem is once again taking up a juicy villainous role that looks interesting and exciting. Michael Fassbender stars as a lawyer who gets involved in drug trafficking, while Brad Pitt seems to set up the deal between Fassbender. Cruz playing Fassbender’s love interest, and Diaz playing Bardem’s. It’s one hell of a cast, and with Ridley Scott behind the lens and McCarthy behind the words, it’s shaping up quite nicely. Could even be a potential threat come Oscar season.
