We saw a teaser trailer for Jobs already, but the first real trailer for the film about Steve Jobs legendary career with Apple is now out there. Everyone has their doubts about Ashton Kutcher starring as the famous entrepreneur Steve Jobs, and I can’t blame them. Even with Kutcher’s undeniable likeness to Jobs, Kutcher isn’t known for his more serious dramatic work, and that is what this role will require.
This trailer shows us plenty of scenes, and although I had my doubts, Kutcher has sold me on the role. Obviously we need to see more, but from what I saw, he seems to be living the role well. That shot of Jobs reflection in the iPod was pretty stunning stuff.
Jobs finally has a release date as well. It will hit theaters on August 16. Be sure to add it to your iCals.
