Drinking Buddies is a new film from director/actor Joe Swanberg. The film has a stellar 4-piece cast as their leads: Anna Kendrck, Oliva Wilde, Ron Livingston, and Jake Johnson. The 4 of them play a pair of couples whose relationships become complicated due to the deep friendship between one of them (Wilde/Johnson play the friends).
The first trailer has arrived, and although it seems like it shows us a lot, there’s still a lot of movie left to see how it all unfolds. Anna Kendrick is one of my favorite actresses going, so I will see this just for her. It comes out in theaters on August 23, but you can buy it on iTunes or rent it On Demand starting on July 25. Watch the trailer below which features terrific use of Rubblebucket’s “She Came Out Of A Lady.” Amazing to see the song used, hope it breaks big in the market because of it’s use in the trailer
