METZ were on the receiving end of many “CMJ must see bands” lists, and it was just too fitting that they went on after Savages. I heard METZ were an assault live, and they lived up to the reputation giving us all they had for the entire duration of the set. Big pounding riffs and drums hit like hammers with screams yelps, it was just insane. I’m usually not too into thrash rock or anything close to the stuff METZ do, but they definitely do it well. I would surely see them again.
