Rainy Milo is the next female British artist that you should keep a patient eye one. Hailing from South East London, and containing a wealth of talent; she’s certainly one to watch.

She has been working with music since she was 14-years-old, taking influences from jazz, as well as hip-hop beats. This unique combination gives her a fresh sound that is a healthy mix of Jessie Ware, Lily Allen, and (a hint of) Amy Winehouse. Not only do her influences set her apart from her contemporaries, but this girl actually declined the offers of interested record labels, deciding it wasn’t the right time yet. Pretty astonishing, right?

From the smooth, soothing, “‘Bout You” to the tear inducing “Come Up And See Me” (Cockney Rebel Cover), her debut EP Limey is not one to miss. This girl is way ahead of the game, and will soon be on top. No doubt in my mind.

The EP is available as a free download here. I’ve also embedded a stream which you can check out below.
