Baio (the solo electronic project of Vampire Weekend bassist Chris Baio) has released a 2 song EP/single for free download. The song are titled “The Silent”and “New You”.
“The Silent” is a very colorful lively piece of electronic dance work driven by deep bass, while “New You” is more subdued with its dance tendencies, but there’s a tribal influence to go along with plenty of underlying elements to get you shuffling.
Man Baio has really come to his own as a solo artist. Great to see. Download both tracks below.
