Hey guys, got some exciting news to share. I’m a part of group of music blogs that have partnered with Weavir, a brand new music discovery web site that serves to connect users through the discovery of blogged content, concert, and similarities. I along with other great music blogs have a hand in the musical content that can be discovered on Weavir.
Weavir sets itself apart from other services in it’s ability to allow users to discover up-to-date music and concerts through similar people. You can also find similar people through the music/concerts. It gives the experience of discovering exciting things in music a bit of a social aspect.
Things are just getting started, as the platform just launched a crowd funding campaign on Indiegogo. The crowd funding is a way to raise money for a campaign by recruiting large amounts of people to contribute small amounts of money. It’s launching through this crowd funding campaign in order to build an online community of contributors who will help create the platform through creative engagement and feedback. This is where all of you guys come in.
