I’m still lovesick over the fact that I won’t see LCD Soundsystem live. However, things like Special Disco Version, the team of LCD’s James Murphy and Pat Mahoney make me feel a little bit better about their departure. They gathered the crowd in what they called a block party, got us moving and grooving with some great records that definitely inspired them to make the music that they did. It was a great time for everyone all around.
