Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. have come ways since their set at CMJ in 2010. They had a full crowd at hand, and seemed to have expanded the sound of their live show. They had no problem jamming out in anyway that it called for it. They did covers, had fun with the crowd, and left a bottle of champagne in one of the porta potties for one lucky fan to win. Hard to hate on guys like that. Not all their songs did it for me live. Some didn’t catch on, but others like “We Almost Lost Detroit” sounded big and epic, which is when these guys are at their best.
