While reading Paste’s very early listing of “The 25 Best Songs of 2012”, I immediately jumped to their #1 pick. Curiosity got the best of me. It’s a song called “When I Write My Master’s Thesis” by The Weakerthans founding member, John K. Samson.
I had yet to hear the track, and to my pleasure, it’s pretty awesome. It’s taken from his album Provincial, which he released this past January via Epitaph Records.
