“You Against The Larger World” isn’t on Dirty Projectors upcoming album, Swing Lo Magellan (Listen to “Gun Has No Trigger” here, which will be on it). It was their contribution to Record Store Day for Domino and Ribbon Music’s release.
On Friday, Dave Longstreth posted a video of the vinyl playing the song. The video came with a message from Dave that said:
hello world
i wrote a ton of songs when we were upstate last year. here’s one that didn’t go further than the demo but is pretty sweet anyway. happy record store day!
