While watching the trailer for the film I Melt With You, what caught my attention was the song playing alongside it. Turns out it’s a song called “Defeatist” by an Australian band named Cameras.
It sounds like an honest drunken confession, belted loud over to eager ears that are ready to absorb it’s brutal honesty. This is some epic stuff, dramatic in all the right ways.
It’s taken from the bands debut album, In Your Room, out on October 24 via Manimal/SonyRed.
