Clap Your Hands Say Yeah have announced that they will release a new album called Hysterical sometime in September. The band updated their site with a teaser video showcasing the band working on new material in the studio, along with new tour dates, and the following message:
We have a new album coming out! It’s called Hysterical, and it will be available on September 20th in the US, and September 12th in the UK, Europe, Japan, and Australia. It was produced by John Congleton.
We’re also re-issuing our fully remastered first album on vinyl. We always thought the vinyl could sound better – now it does! Available June 14th.
It’s been a long, long, time since we’ve heard new music from CYHSY. Their debut album was a big reason why I became interested in following blogs, finding new music, and even starting my own. People have been way too hard on these guys. I think they will come back with an incredible third effort that will make it feel like ’05 once again.
