Death Cab’s Ben Gibbard played a solo set at San Francisco’s Noise Pop Festival on February 27th. Recordings of some of the songs have now surfaced. He performed a song called “Codes and Keys”, which is the title track from their new album. He also played a solo song called “When The Sun Goes Down On Your Street” that will be included in the new Russell Brand movie, Arthur.
I’m interested to see what “Codes and Keys” sounds like with the supposed electronic transformation that Death Cab is taking on Codes and Keys. Both songs sound like Death Cab songs, and you can stream both below thanks to TwentyFourBit:
