Voxhaul Broadcast are a hot band from L.A. who are making some pretty big waves over there. They are releasing their debut album, Timing Is Everything, later this year (October, according to Filter) and I have a song from the album to share with ya’ll.
It’s called “Leaving On the 5th”, and it rules pretty hard. Their singer reminds me of The Walkmen’s Leithauser. The band has the cool swagger of what a band from L.A. should, with a riveting sound that has the ambition of Kings Of Leon, while playing like the old.
This is the type of sound I really dig, so I think you will too:
