Summer is coming to an end slowly but surely, but that doesn’t mean I am done posting summer gems like Beat Connection‘s “In The Water”. My bud Henry from The Tape Is Not Sticky showed it to me while we were interning at Beggars and I am totally digging it. It’s a lush tropical influenced song that is riding the coolwaves. On their myspace “sounds like” section, they compared their sound to “waking up to a sunset”. Touché fellas.
Beat Connection is Jordan Koplowitz and Reed Juenger, two fellas from Seattle. They released their Surf Noir EP for free on bandcamp, and it includes “In The Water”. It’s free, you best go grab it.
