You may remember a band called Weekend that I proudly posted as a band to watch. If not, this should refresh your memory. They just released a new 7″ split single with Young Prisms on Transparent. They gave their incredible song “End Times” to the 7″. If their ever is an end to the world, boy does this song make it sound good.
It’s drenched with reverb & sweet vocals that dance around the fuzzy guitars. Another blissful summer anthem added to my collection.
You can buy this bad boy right here. Only 300 copies were pressed. It also features “I Don’t Get Much” from Young Prisms, which also earns its keep as a major shoe-gaze jam. Both songs are available to download for free below:
