Sound Of Guns are a new band that hails from Liverpool. They are bound for instant UK success with big anthem’s that football fans will have no problem singing at the bar while they chant over their pint glass. Their sound is very uk friendly, in the grand anthemic fashion that they seem to favor over there. There isn’t really anything different about the band, yet I couldn’t help but enjoy the ambition in a song like “Elementary Of Youth”. It is the standout on their ep (also called Elementary Of Youth) which is filled with 3 pretty average tracks.
I can see these guys exploding the british scene in 2010, and depending on their eventually album, it may or may not warranted. I don’t really expect anything groundbreaking from Sound Of Guns. As long as they keep pumping out grand tunes like “Elementary” it will be good enough for me.
I am guessing these guys put on a great live show!
