Here’s a new “feature” for my blog. If I see any cool links, I will post them here. This is the first part of this series, and hopefully this will turn into a cool way to get other links out there to you that I dig!

NPR posted their list for “The Decade’s 50 Most Important Recordings“. It’s not their favorite/best of, but rather stuff that they though had an impact on the decade. As they call them, “game changers”.

Radiobutt posted an interesting post about the rating system of pitchfork, versus all music critics/the people. He dissects the topic of a big site like pitchforks “rave best new music albums” and if they are truly what most music critics think are the best. It compares the rating of Pitchfork, Metacritic, and RateYourMusic. He even has a formula to predict what pitchfork will give an album based on his statistics. It is an interesting read!
