Clipse are one of the few rap groups who are keeping the genre fresh. At least to me.
I am excited for their new album Till The Casket Drops, which is dropping on December 8th. I have a song called “Popular Demand (Popeye’s)” from the album to share with you. Cam’ron is the featured guest.
The Neptunes/Pharell were responsible for the production duties on this track. They put their hand in a very chill simple beat centered around a repeated piano line.
This isn’t the strongest Clipse song , but I still approve of it. I can see this song growing on me.
I have high hopes for Till The Casket Drops after the phenomenal Hell Hath No Fury. Can Clipse come through again?
We can only hope.
