Here is a quick rundown of the goodies that this Tuesday brings. It is a pretty solid week. Nothing too big but all the names are very recognizable. This month is massive so get ready for a monster next couple of posts!

Akron/Family – Set ‘Em Wild, Set ‘Em Free

Akron/Family are set to release their 5th album of experimental folk rock. Grab the song ‘River’ that they made available for download:

Arctic Monkeys – At The Apollo (CD/DVD)

My boys have finally released their amazing live concert at the Apollo. I have actually had this for quite some time now (I ordered the UK version). The DVD is totally worth it, plus you get a bonus disc with 10 songs from an old show in Texas. You better buy this NOW!

Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band – Outer South

Conor Oberst a.k.a. Bright Eyes is a busy dude. He is back with another solo album this time backed up by the Mystic Valley Band. I haven’t really looked into his solo work yet but I am sure he is keeping his stake as a young modern Dylan!

The Horrors – Primary Colours

If you read my blog regularly than you should know that I have been pimping the Horrors new record: Primary Colours. The band took a completely different turn and the result is one of the years best little surprises if not best albums of the entire year so far!!!!!

Peaches – I Feel Cream

Peaches new one ‘I Feel Cream’ is out today, and that cover is so 80’s. Word on the street is that it is her most pop friendly record yet.

St. Vincent – Actor

St. Vincent is getting more and more love from critics each day. Pitchy just stamped her with a solid 8.5 and a BNM. The record is both simialr and different to her last record Marry Me. To tell yo the truth, I believe this one is better!
