Bloc Party vs. Katy Perry – Party Kisser (Mashup)

I figured I would post something fun since it is a pretty slow Saturday for music and for me. This next song is a pretty random find. My friend Rogo told me about a strange remix that worked very well. It is a mix of Bloc Party’s ‘Banquet’ and the top 40 hit maker Katy Perry’s ‘I Kissed A Girl’. I mean these are very two different artist and genres, but it works. The melody follows Perry’s vocals very strangely. Quite scary indeed. It is a funny listen and you will be amazed at how well this works. Go figure I would have two posts about Katy Perry on my blog…the other one feature her cover of ‘Electric Feel’ by MGMT.
