I was going through my indox searching for emails I overlooked and I stumbled upon one that I recalled reading but never gave a listen. It contained the band These United States and their song ‘Get Yourself Home (In Search of the Mistress Whose Kisses Are Famous)’. The song has a bit of folk/country influences in there, with some great melodies.
The band released their debut album “A Picture of the Three of Us at the Gate to the Garden of Eden” 6 months ago. Their 2nd album was recorded a few weeks after, and in a few days they recorded their sophmore album which came out September 23rd. Based on this song, I am going to look out for it. You should to.
